Long nights full of intense emotions. The pain soaked into almost every part of my body. I had to prepare myself for every possible turnover in my bed. I imagined that an invisible person was standing beside me and punishing me mercilessly for every move, for every act of disobedience.
Life is but a dream, even when a chronic disease is part of it.
Does it mean that the world is unreal?
It simply means that I am more real than my pain, than anything that might occur in my dreams.
